OUR STORY
As a mother of a 7 year old sensory seeking child myself, I’m dedicated to designing safe, educational and fun toys and learning materials that children will enjoy.
I gave birth to my twins, a boy and girl, and somehow as I see them grow, I started suspecting that my son might have ASD. He plays with toys in a different way and most toys available are not safe for the type of play that he enjoys. When he was diagnosed with level 3 ASD, this then developed a need for me to search for toys and learning materials that will help my son have fun and learn in a safe way.
Welcome to Brite Toy Inc.
During this time, I listened to increasing numbers of parents who, like myself, were seeking safe and fun materials for their sensory-seeking children. Parents asked me repeatedly where I get my children’s toys. It surprised me that there is a need for these types of products in the market, and very few are available and the variety is limited. I want to help my friends and other parents who are also in the same plight.
Brite Toy started in Ontario, Canada around 2020. However, my life took a slight detour as I became one of the very first patients to be diagnosed with COVID-19. I went into a coma for weeks and after I came out of this ordeal, I have gained an even stronger motivation to do this for my children.
It is balancing act running a home-based incorporated business, while being a housekeeper and a mother to my twins, plus staying on top of my son’s therapy schedules. Despite this, I feel that this is my calling --- my passion.
